PARTNERS Guilherme Paulino – Most recently, Mr. Paulino was Director of Business Development of Americanas.com, where he was responsible for the company’s non-organic growth through the implementation of acquisition strategies and development of new business areas. Prior to Americans.com, Mr. Paulino, was one of the founding partners of LatinStocks.com. While at LatinStocks, Mr. Paulino was responsible for the company’s Brazilian operations, managing 47 professionals and directly responsible for key transactions such as the acquisition of Hedging Griffo’s online operations and the company’s fund raising process which amounted to approximately US$15 million. Prior to LatinStocks.com, Mr. Paulino, performed origination and execution of corporate finance transactions, including debt issuances in the international capital markets and mergers & acquisitions while at Bear Stearns. He also acquired significant experience in credit analysis and credit risk management, while at his previous position at ING Barings. Mr. Paulino has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) in São Paulo.
